How reviews work
Last updated: September 2026
Who can write a review
- Someone with an account and a confirmed e-mail, whose account is at least 24 hours old.
- Not an owner or staff member of the business being reviewed.
- One review per place or business every 365 days. Editing a review keeps a new version of it.
What we ask for
Stars, and a text about your own experience of at least 30 characters. Tags are optional and help others filter.
We give no points and no reward for writing a review.
How we check
Some reviews go through a check that can take up to 48 hours. If we don't publish your review, we tell you why, and you can edit it and send it again.
Reasons for not publishing: not a first-hand experience, conflict of interest, wrong business, personal data, abuse or hatred, threats, ads or spam, health claims, off topic, duplicate.
How we show reviews
- Newest first, and you can switch to highest, lowest, with photos or Arabic only.
- We don't show the average before 3 published reviews.
- Ads never change the order of reviews or which ones appear, and no review appears inside an ad.
- Published reviews stay visible for at least 365 days.
What the business owner can do
Reply to a review, mark a problem as solved when the reviewer confirms it, and report a review that breaks the rules. The owner cannot delete or hide a review.
Reports and appeals
Anyone can report a review without an account, and a report alone never hides it. If your review is hidden after it was published, you are told why and can appeal within 14 days.
